Sri Lanka Olympians are honored to witness the official welcome of Queen’s baton relay of 2018 Commonwealth Games at President House.  2018 Commonwealth games known as XXI Commonwealth games will be held in Australia.

This event is part of a three day ceremony hosted by the Commonwealth Association of Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka won two medals at the last Commonwealth Games in India, with SLO Member Chinthana Geetal Vidanage OLY (69kg) and SLO Member Anton Sudesh Peiris Kurukulasooriyage OLY (62kg) winning silver and bronze medals respectively from weightlifting competitions.
