Ganga Senavirathne is a prominent Sri Lankan swimmer who has represented the nation on various international stages, including the 2024 Paris Olympics. In the women’s 100m backstroke event at Paris La Défense Arena, she clocked an impressive 1:04.26 in her heat, marking a season-best time, of her personal best of 1:04.26. Despite not advancing to the semifinals, placing 30th out of 36 competitors, her determination and talent were evident as she showcased her skills among the world’s elite swimmers.
