Annual Get Together of Sri Lanka Olympians (SLO) was held at Citrus Waskaduwa on 25th of November 2017, Event was successfully completed with awareness program and post celebrations

Awareness session about Value of Olympics was done by Mr. B. L. H.  Perera Lecturer appointed by International Olympic Committee to Educate Young sportsman and sportswomen

Awareness session about Anti-Doping was conducted by Dr. Seevali Jayawickrama Director at Sri Lanka Anti-Doping Agency SLADA.

Dr. Malav , Chair Person Asia for World Olympians Association (WOA) appraised the event by sending a video message by himself.

Handing over a group picture of Olympians with His Excellency The President Maithripala Sirisena and Hon Sports Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara which was taken at the Sri Lanka Olympians Golden Awards Ceremony held at President’s House, was handed over to each Olympian at the event.

Mr. Sanath Weerasuriya Coordinating Secretary for the President, Dr. Janaprasad Wijethunga Sports medicine doctor SLO and Mr. Chanaka Jayamaha Legal Officer SLO were also present at the event as special Invitees.

Most interesting registration of internationally recognized OLY post nominal letters was done at the event. On approval from World Olympians Association every registered Olympian can now amend the OLY letters to their name as an appreciation of years of hard work, dedication and effort.
