A Workshop was organized by the Sri Lankan Olympians under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Education for the athletes of Udugama zone who were qualified to compete in the Southern Province Athletic Meet. This event took place on the 18th of August 2023 throughout the day at the Udugama Maha Vidyalaya grounds. This was coordinated by the Sports Director of Udugama Zone, Mr Hemantha. Sriyani Kulawansha OLY, Dr Susantha Paris, Sugath Thilakarathne OLY, Nimmi de Zoysa OLY, Mahesh Perera OLY, Thamara Samandeepika OLY, W. Rathnakumara OLY, Mr. Nilantha Dilruk, Mr. Chandana Amarasinghe and Mr. Geeth Kumara Hathurusinghe joined hands for the success of this event
