Demuni Shashikala Nimmi de Zoysa is a former Sri Lankan sprinter who excelled in national and international athletics. She represented Sri Lanka in the 4x100m women’s relay team at several prestigious events, including the 2000 Sydney Olympics, the 2001 World Athletics Championships, and the 2002 Commonwealth Games. She won a gold medal in the 4x100m relay at the 2000 Asian Championships in Jakarta. Nimmi also earned medals in various SAF Games, including silver and bronze in both the 4x400m relay and the 400m.
